Master’s Degree Program in Biology
The Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences in KTMU - Department of Biology offers a Master’s degree program with a curriculum allowing students for establishing their careers in accordance with their research interests by taking diverse elective courses and performing laboratory practices. Our department started accepting graduate students in 2014-2015 academic years. At present, 12 graduate students are studying in the Biology department and 8 of them are working on Master's Degree Projects.
The curriculum covers classroom studies, laboratory practices, and a thesis. The program was designed to cover research opportunities existing in a variety of areas including zoology, botany, cytology, histology, anatomy, human and animal physiology, genetics and genetic engineering, biochemistry, molecular biology and biotechnology, immunology and endocrinology and environmental protection. Our faculty contributes to graduate education in order to provide students with an education that meets the fundamental knowledge of chemical biology and needs of industry, technology, and trends in the field.
